Lake Tahoe is a beautiful and exciting place to visit, and for a lucky few, to call home. Mary Kleingartner came to the area in 2002 to work as a ski racing coach and fell in love with Incline Village and all the recreational opportunities afforded by both the natural environment and the cities around the lake.
Originally from the Pacific Northwest, Mary attended Seattle University where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. Her studies enable her to both listen and ask questions to get to the heart of her client’s wishes and dreams for buying the perfect home or through the sometimes emotional process when selling.
After 8 years in the luxury real estate market in Incline Village, Mary recently changed brokerages to join the exceptional team at Compass Realty. Consistently ranked a top agent in sales volume in the state of Nevada, Mary is detail-oriented and has the skills to successfully negotiate for buyers and sellers, as well as market properties to their best advantage. She regularly attends educational conferences to stay abreast of industry trends, especially in the luxury market.
She is passionate not only about making the process of buying or selling a home easy and enjoyable but about sharing her love for lakeside living. Mary has served on the planning committee for various community events and served as chairperson for a community fundraiser. She truly understands and appreciates the many unique opportunities of the area with its incredible beauty, year-round recreational pursuits, and outstanding restaurants.
When Mary isn’t in the office or volunteering, you’ll often find her skiing, hiking, paddle boarding, wine tasting, or cooking gourmet meals. She feels incredibly blessed to work in a field that allows her to count clients as friends.
